MEC, a leading media agency proud to announce that four members of the team have been recognised in Media Week's annual ‘30 under 30' list of rising talent - more than any other organisation. The list, which is independently judged by leading media industry professionals is designed to cherry pick media professionals with the "vision, energy and pace to force change from deep within a business".

The MEC staff recognised by Media Week are:

James Appleby, broadcast account director - James was one of a team of six on the successful Orange pitch last year. James has also nurtured record profits at clients such as Nintendo.

Matthew Bell, account manager - Matthew became MEC Interaction's youngest account manager after just 18 months at the company. Thanks to media firsts such as the MySpace WebIM messenger launch for Colgate, Matthew has been appointed to MEC's Digital Taskforce and is one of the agency's graduate mentors.

Jay Chauhan, account director - Jay is one of MEC's resident experts in integrated communications planning, where the worlds of brand, response and digital collide. Jay helped to devise MEC's flexible working scheme in order to give his colleagues a better work/life balance.

Carl Read, business director - Carl became MEC's youngest account director back in 2007, and within two years he had been promoted to business director, leading a team of eleven to run the digital strategy on the Orange account.
