She will be based in New York and report to Beth Egan, Managing Partner, Account Director. Courtenay will be responsible for Pepperidge Farm’s strategic media planning – part of the agency’s Campbell’s Soup business.

Prior to joining MEC, Courtenay served as co-founder of Leap Media Group, where she advised advertising agencies and media sellers in the development of strategic, measurable advanced television media campaigns. Before that, she worked for technology start-up BlackArrow, where she served as Vice President of Advertising Business Development and was responsible for developing buy side (agency) business strategy. Prior to BlackArrow, Courtenay worked at MediaVest Worldwide working for clients such as Kraft and Coca-Cola.
Courtenay has been recognized by MediaPost as a “Rising Star” for innovative use of media and her team’s “Starbucks Commercial Free Movies” program on Bravo/IFC was recognized as 2002 Mediaweek Cable Plan of the Year. She is an active member of Alliance for Women in Media and initiatives advancing working mothers in advertising.
