MEC appoints Thorsten Blodow as new Managing Director for MEC Access.

Thorsten Blodow joins MEC

MEC Düsseldorf has appointed Thorsten Blodow as Managing Director of MEC Access and MEC Germany. The appointment is effective immediately.

Thorsten Blodow, 36, was formerly Director of Carat Sponsorship where he led accounts such as RWE, Postbank, Vodafone, Adidas and Coca-Cola on their strategic sponsorship and partnerships. His experience covers both consultancy and implementation.

Previously, he was also Managing Director of WOM Media Network between 2004 and 2005 working across the music industry, and previously spent time at CIA Medianetwork, Media Direction, and MediaCom, working with clients including Nike, Footlocker, Ubisoft, Dr Oetker and Mars.
