MEC Access sweeps the board at the Hollis Sponsorship Awards.

MEC Access awards

MEC Access (www.mecaccess.com) was last night named ‘Consultancy of the Year, 2008' at the Hollis Sponsorship Awards, as well as picking up a further six awards including the overall Hollis ‘Sponsorship of the Year'. The prestigious Hollis Sponsorship Awards recognize the best work of the UK sponsorship industry and, with seven awards in total, MEC Access achieved the greatest number of wins at this year's award ceremony.

In addition to winning ‘Consultancy of the Year 2008', MEC Access was awarded the Hollis ‘Sponsorship of the Year 2008' - which is awarded at the judges' discretion to the best overall entrant to the awards.

MEC Access was also recognized for its outstanding client work, with Specsavers, Evian, Nicotinell and the groundbreaking work for the Morrisons ‘Let's Grow' campaign all being honored. The full list of award wins follows:

  • Hollis Sponsorship of the Year: Evian, Wimbledon Championships
  • Hollis Education Sponsorship: Morrisons Let's Grow
  • Hollis Media Sponsorship: Specsavers Gok Wan
  • Hollis Brand Sponsorship (over £750,000): Evian, Wimbledon Championships
  • Hollis First Time Sponsor: Nicotinell
  • Hollis Best Use of Research: Evian, Wimbledon Championships
