Marla Kaplowitz named CEO for MEC North America

MEC, a leading media agency today named Marla Kaplowitz as CEO for MEC North America. 

The announcement was made by Charles Courtier, CEO Global for MEC.

She replaces Lee Doyle who recently stepped down.  Marla will report to Charles Courtier and join MEC’s Global Executive Committee.

Marla joined the company in March of this year as President US Clients and Head of Planning.  She was formerly Executive Vice President, Managing Director, leading the Procter & Gamble communications planning assignment for North America at MediaVest. And she was a key leader within their executive team.

Marla will be supported in her role by Charles Courtier and Rob Norman CEO for GroupM North America and the extremely strong and talented North America Exco:

-       Eamonn Store, President, Global Solutions

-       Dennis Donlin, President, Team AT&T

-       Mark Sanders, Chief Financial Officer

Her current position will be replaced in due course.
