MEC News » FrieslandCampina chooses MEC for media agency partnership.
The pitch was between the two agencies Kobalt and MEC. Due to the merger between Friesland Foods and Campina a choice had to be made between the media agencies that already worked for both companies. After an intensive process between MEC (Friesland Foods incumbent) and Kobalt (Campina Nederland incumbent) the decision was taken to hire MEC.
Despite the excellent cooperation that existed with Kobalt, FrieslandCampina chose to continue working with MEC because of their media vision.
MEC will work for all the brands of FrieslandCampina in the Netherlands such as Campina, Campina, Optimel, Mona, Vifit, Goedemorgen, Friesche Vlag, Appelsientje, CoolBest, DubbelFrisss, Chocomel, Fristi, Milner, Slankie, Frico and Valess.
On behalf of FrieslandCampina, Birgit Blomberg and Jos Vervoort were involved in the selection. Marketing and communication consultancy agency 3MO directed the selection process.
