MEC News » Florentia Village appoints MEC Beijing
The win includes all media planning and buying on and off line. This is the first time Florentia Village is working with a media agency in China.
Located in a 16th century Italian-style town, Florentia Village is China’s first authentic Italian outlet village. Due to open on 9 June 2011, it will bring Chinese consumers the ultimate Italian shopping experience with approximately 200 of Italy’s most famous brands along with other international and Chinese fashion premium brands – all heavily discounted.
Nikki Lin, Marketing Director of Florentia Village, said: “MEC’s unparalleled understanding of the consumer with its insights supported by solid research really impressed us. The team's extensive experience in managing international luxury brands also made it very easy for us to decide whom we wanted to partner. ”
“We are delighted to have this opportunity to work with a new luxury brand and we look forward to delivering real active engagement to support their business in China,” added Michelle Yang, Managing Director of MEC Beijing Office.
