Award-winning media man makes the leap to MEC Philippines

MEC Philippines, a leading media agency, announced today that Adel Tuason has joined the company, one of the fastest growing agencies locally.

As Business Unit Director and Strategic Planning Director, Tuason will be reporting directly to Malu Vasallo, MEC's Managing Director.  His appointment is effective immediately.

In his role, Tuason is tasked to bring MEC closer to its clients such as Wrigley, Sony and Caltex by achieving genuine business results; to lead integrated planning across the agency and lead the business development drive in the Philippines.

Tuason brings with him a wealth of experience and insight with over 14 years in the industry. Prior to joining, he was Universal McCann's AOR Director for prestigious brands such Bank of the Philippine Islands/BPI Family Bank and Ayala Land Incorporated as well as Jollibee Foods Corporation. He was also Strategic Planning Director for Globe. He also won a slew of awards from "Jollitown": Bronze Winner, Best Innovative and Integrated Media Campaign, Tambuli Awards 2009; to "Jollibee Bee2Win sa Bituin": Gold Winner, 2007 Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards, Singapore, and Finalist- Creativity in Media Category, 2006-2007 Agency of the Year Awards, Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies, Manila.

He is also credited for Universal McCann's official winning entries to the Agency of the Year Awards in 2004 and 2005.
