In his role as Chief Executive Officer, MEC Latin America, Michael is responsible for building MEC in this rapidly emerging region.  His latest success has been winning the Sony Electronics Latin American business.

Michael has spent over ten years with MEC. Before moving to his current role, he was Director of Business Development for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Here, he orchestrated and managed some of the agency’s biggest wins, including Deutsche Post/DHL, IKEA and Michelin.

Prior to this, Michael launched MEC simultaneously across eight markets in Asia. His key clients included Colgate Palmolive, Citibank, Chanel and AT&T. Michael was the longest serving head of any of the media specialists in Asia; gaining experience in consumer, direct and business-to-business communication, as well as developing tools and research applications.

Michael’s career began with Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising. He later moved to Southern China with Procter & Gamble and then joined Dentsu Young & Rubicam as Executive Media Director for Hong Kong and China.

Michael travels extensively. He is single but married to his mobile phone.
